Erik Hicks

Mr. Hicks' career is distinguished by over 30 years of success as a businessman and entertainment professional. His experience in branding strategies, marketing, artist management, business development, and consulting/advising has served his clients and business partners in resplendent fashion. The multi-faceted Erik is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and artist who has written and produced songs for some of the most legendary artists in the world, such as Grammy Award singer Regina Belle; and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers/Grammy Award winners, Aretha Franklin, Curtis Mayfield, and Bootsy Collins, to name a few.

Erik had a music production deal with the Rock Icon Jimi Hendrix's family's Seattle-based company, Experience Hendrix, L.L.C., that was distributed by MCA/Universal. Additionally, he managed Aaron & Damion Hall of the multi-platinum R&B group GUY on their last album, entitled GUY3 which peaked at no. 5 on the R&B album Billboard charts and no. 13 on the Billboard 200 charts.

Erik not only has worked with successful, established groups, but has a keen intuition and an innate ability to recognize, brand and develop new talent. He discovered an unknown aspiring artist "Dena Cali" whom he immediately sign to his entertainment company and managed her as well. Erik also wrote and produced her first single, "I'm Your Girl", which climbed all the way to #2 on the Billboard® "Hot Rap Singles™" chart. In addition Erik co-created and launched the "Get It All Campaign", which was kicked off by a Super Bowl giveaway and an appearance on NBC's Emmy® Award-winning entertainment news program, Extra. Erik also directed the "Get It All" music video which garnered over 1.2 million views on YouTube.

In addition, Erik created and produced/executive produced the "Art of Collaboration" live interview that appeared in VIBE magazine and featured Interscope Records Co-Founder and Radar Pictures CEO Ted Field.

Erik also has a joint venture with Radar Pictures and serves as their Executive Global Ancillary Strategist. Radar Pictures has produced over 60 films which have generated in excess of $8 Billion in revenue. He also serves as one of the Executive Producers for the Radar Pictures film, adapted from the book of the same name, In Search of Captain Zero.

Erik has a strategic partnership with M2 Jets Aviation Company, including facilitating the sale of private jets and jet charters, marketing, and business development. He also served as an adviser and business consultant to VAOH Land and Mineral Company, LLC, and Dickerson, LLC, on a Coal to Fuel project encompassing 446.62 acres in Eastern Ohio, to build and operate a facility that extracts liquid hydrocarbons from an existing ~5MM ton on-site stock-pile of coal waste; gasifies and refines those liquids into marketable fuels (i.e. oil, jet fuel, and diesel fuel); and returns the coal waste, intact, with an enhanced energy (BTU) value, thus increasing the monetary value of the coal waste.

Erik also serves as an advisor and consultant for Calling Vault, a cellular service company that provides consumers a gated community portal to privacy, security, safety, flexibility, convenience, and data retention for their cellular communication life and lifestyle.

Erik currently is an advisor to Kush Boys Worldwide and Jamal Weathers, the Co-Founder and CEO of Kush Boys Worldwide. Kush Boys Worldwide is a high caliber multimedia production company which has over 15 years of experience in the cannabis industry. Jamal is a serial entrepreneur with partnerships in AQUAhydrate and Wahlburgers.
